Pave Chocolates and Confectionery @ East Coast Road

pave

Since the day Pave opened, I have missed tons of opportunities to try it. Unbenownst to me, there are two storeys to it and occupancy for it is definitely not limited to just the ground floor!

Love the colours used for the colour scheme.

Cute tip jar.
decor

They have taken the liberty to dress up their window displays to reflect the current promotions and seasonal specials - yay!
bouncing berries whole

Bouncing Berries ($7.90)
Blackcurrant mousse, White chocolate infused rosemary

Not taking chocolate certainly limits the choices for dessert. The girl over the counter was enthusiastically making recommendations and I went ahead with it.
bouncing berries

K Ki this is not, though the mousse is light as a feather. The white chocolate had a lovely smooth finish to it though not the most complementary, was nice. I found this a tad sour, or perhaps it is me and berry desserts that I am not a huge fan of.
ice choc

Iced Chocolate ($7.50)

Its thickness and sweetness can be adjusted but the first attempt of this was - indulgence at its max. Slight bittertaste and the gf declared consuming enough chocolate for the week. I say, enough chocolate to cause an outbreak pronto!

Pave is one of those places that I can imagine myself chilling out in, have to attempt its signatures to finally conclude on this place...yet specialising in chocolates does limit a non-chocolate fan like me. If not, Cocogello is a good alternative a couple of doors away.
