This is supposedly THE stall to go for the bestest-most-awesome Nasi Briyani alive. With all the raves, I would expect the best and the most awesome.
And so it comes in a burly fashion, a pile of rice so high and massive it was meant for the labourers who toiled so hard and relentlessly under the scorching sun. For the regular office folks, this is an overload of too much of a good thing, if it were even good. Hidden in the mass of rice are chunks of lamb stew. A bowl of gravy comes with it for more calorie piling.
The rice is painfully dry and lamb is thankfully meaty and gamey and not for the faint hearted.
The best part of the meal went to the side of achar.
Did I say YUM already?

I had just tried the mutton briyani at the Tanjong Pagar railway station. It was really nice.
