It has been a good long while I had korean food of any sort...downside being, the cuisine does not have the same draw as the rest..not that I'd majorly crave for. Headed to Doong Ji for dinner one night and it was packed. So packed we had to loiter outside for a good 10 minutes.
The regular dishes that fill the table. In order of preference...
Potato salad (oddly!) and the seaweed dish. The rest were pretty ordinary.
Spicy Rice Cake ($11.50)*
The familiar dense rice cakes doused in sweetened orange sauce...not the best eaten neither was it the worse...ordinary at best.
Seafood Pa Jun ($18)
Who's to know the pancake would be exactly like an omelette and portioned so huge?

More of egg and seafood and chives than pancake. Not too huge a fan.

Stir fried beef ($25)
Finally a more than decent one.

Wrapped in lettuce and the usual bean paste, green chilli and garlic..I found some comfort in the meal. Eating with your hands changes the way food tastes and I relish that in particular for korean food.

Roast tea to wash down the grease (if any!)
Not too impressed with the food here, would be able to get better fare at Le Meridien's food court or even Togi at Chinatown.
