Galaries Lafayette is macaron heaven, just like Saint Hubert Galleries is chocolate heaven. In the dining level, similar to our foodcourt lies a string of counters that sell macarons! I went on a macaron binge, pinking them out based on colours and flavours.
Probably the only brand that spells these French treats differently...macaroons, they insist. Jean Paul Hevin specialises in chocolates.

It crumbled apart upon touch, not the bestest of macarons...the main thing that appealed was really the dual colours used on the shells. Crispy shell, chewy fillings are the standard in Paris...something just did not wow.
