After the titillating first attempt of Spargel in Rothenburg, I frivolously wanted more of the royal vegetable in Frankfurt.
Located opposite of the famous 'Römer', there is a stretch of restaurants all offering Spargel!
Window seats are always so hard to resist.
Loving the whole layout of the place and tons of wood used...
Zwiebelsuppe (5.50€)
All things white for the night...first up with White Onion Soup. One rich and flavourful soup with toasted croutons and parsley! Tum-warming would be the best description of this soup, adored this greatly!
Spargel Snitzel (18.90€)
At one glance, the white asparagus was drab looking as compared to Rothenburg's. Overcooked it was, for sure. Thankfully the pork cutlet was decent enough to save the dish!
Somehow Rothenburg's version was more impressive in terms of cooking style and taste...strange for an obvious tourist trap town to fare better!
