Bengawan Solo's Strawberry Cheesecake is one of those birthday cakes that has accompanied me through the years. Revisiting it all over again brought a certain nostalgia with it. Bengawan Solo's an inbetween of dense and light Japanese cheesecake. Fluffy light cheesecake with glaced strawberries, without all the cream and fancy dandy candied ornaments..still a favourite!
