I was panicking because I had so little time left to settle so many people's souvenirs. Yuyuan's a great place to shop for food because of the free flow of samples they dish out..the Singaporean in me says "Aye" to all of that. I chanced upon Kobayashi and was enticed by their cute packaging..take a look at above and you get the drift.
小杯煎饼 in Tiramisu and Custard flavours. Those who tried the tiramisu claimed it was just chocolate.
Comes in a box of 12, priced at 18 CNY each.
小杯煎饼 plumped with chilled smooth custard and lightweight spongecake, wolfing down more than one is simpler than you think.
It was only after I paid up that I was told this was not a Shanghai snack but Taiwanese.
