The search for this is nowhere easy. It is behind a whole row of pasar malam stores which makes finding it not only difficult...almost like searching for a needle in a haystack. The rain and winds made it even more arduous. Alas, we found it! It is quite liberating finding out recommended stores from tour guides and what not.
廖同合 is their beancurd specialist with freshly made beancurd sold on the outside.

Silken beancurd jelly with soyabean milk (HKD 6)
The beancurd jelly is uber duper smooth, the milk is too thin though. Already sweetened with the syrup, no orange sugar was needed but I saw a fellow customer dumping orange sugar into it.
The amusing bit happened, soyabean milk in SG is known as 豆花水 but in HK it is 豆漿. The guy serving us had the most confused face ever when asked to add 豆花水.
