Honeymoon Dessert @ Times Square, Hongkong

By now, the other objective of going to Hongkong should be crystal clear. Apart from burning plastic, I or rather we intended to eat till the weighing machine goes on strike. Desserts galore in the city that never sleeps. And until today, almost 2 weeks later, I'm so missing Hongkong big time.

Honeymoon Dessert that sits in the same ranks as Hui Lau Shan, Hang Fa Lao and Sweet Dynasty. They are littered all around shopping malls, lanes...everywhere!

Durian Pancake (HKD 23)

Don't ask me why Durian in Hongkong of all places. A case of "I think they're famous for this" mentality...when there's so much to eat and try.

The light green skin reminded me of kueh dardar, not much of a taste in fact. The thick layer of whipped cream and bittersweet durian pulp was edible but clearly not a favourite of mine. The durian fan says "awful because of the overload in whipped cream" and "overpriced". So there you have it...two types of consumers but both not fans of it.
