Here's a review of Prima Deli's snacks...pretty good for tea time!
Fruit Tartlets
The pastry base is crunchy like a biscuit though I've encountered soggy tart bases from Prima Deli before, cream filling isn't cloying...overall quite nice.
Cheese Tartlets
My favourite of the lot! The cheese isn't empowering, very light..it's like a cheesecake in a tart form. The pastry's just right with the level of crunchiness. The flavours aren't that evident though, just a mini swirl. In a box of 6, I can easily polish half in one seating.
Chicken Pies
The filling is too sweet, pastry's too soft.
Muffins
Moist sponge cake with chockfuls of ingredients, gives the cake shops a run for their money.
Pandan Kaya Cake/Butter cake
The pandan kaya's very smooth and light together with the fragrant chiffon, even better when chilled! The butter cake's too heavy on the butter though.
