Temptations is another of those brands I grew up with, it's shifted around so many times..the last was near Sin Hoi San/Five Star Chicken Rice along East Coast Road and it kind of disappeared. I chanced upon it last week and was thrilled that it didn't vanish from the ends of this foodie world. They're known for their chocolate cakes with the chocolate flower art they do so nicely...but anyway, I had a huge craving for their lemon rolls ($2.20 each)! Soft, fluffy lemon cake with lemon curd in between and drizzled on top..sandwiched in between two chocolate sides.
It somehow tasted better the last time..probably not that fresh, the cake was soggy and the cake was too soft. :( Not at all palatable I know..but sigh, it used to be spongey and light and tasty!
