A first for me at Chulia Street one weekend after a hearty picnic with long lost friends. :) TCC in shenton way's reasonably different from all the other TCCs I've patronized. For one, it's a two storey shophouse, and secondly, they've got huge beanbags to nua the lazy afternoon away! Three, the corner is soooo cosy, we really could've gone un-noticed.

Thick menus...
Somehow a boisterous group of 7 settled for 3 drinks mainly...lychee freeze..

Ice lemon tea ($6.20) with syrup to go. Pricey for just ice-lemon tea! It wasn't superbly different or out of the lemony world.

Azuki Freeze ($7.20), my ultimate fave! Red beans, tick! Soya bean milk, double tick! Chilled...triple tick! Pity this came too sweet. :(
Service was somewhat poor imo. Slow despite the lack of crowd..basically the attitude of the waitress. She went "You want vanilla ice-cream with your drink?" in a manner that was...rude?
Oh well.
