Walked past this really bright looking cafe quite a number of times in Vivocity, a very Parisan feel about it, maybe it's the decor, the lights...? The walls are painted a bright green, that makes it stand out quite abit along the row of shops. It's the only one cafe that has its menu displayed like an exhibit, makes browsing it easy!
Initially enticed by the macaroons, settled for their gelato eventually! Their selection of gelato in nearly all colours of the rainbow is enticing.
Lychee sorbet it had to be after trying both Maple and lychee. It's the "must try flavour". I'm not quite a sorbet person but the sorbet there is awesome! Light, sweet, a little sour, tangy...delicious, despite a very full dinner prior to dessert. A huge overflowing cup I was given! I took a bite of the Mango Sorbet, somewhat artificial in taste though.
Took a glance of the place, very cosy...one day, I'll be back for a lazy afternoon.
Gelato scoops go for $4.50 for one, $8 for two. They're another that practise additional GST when you eat in. With so many gelato shops around, BonBon Tea's somehow stands out.
