Star Mart @ Caltex Petrol

These days even petrol stations have evolved from just being a place for petrol and groceries, it's evolved to become snack corners as well. Delifrance and Old Chang Kee are the two popular snack corners. Recently, I discovered hot pipping snacks that previously looked ao unattractive until I tried them!

Suddenly PCK's favourite line "Don't pray pray" rings a bell.

Yes indeed, unobscure looking snacks that actually packs a punch! Perfect for satisfying those midnight hunger pangs and not the regular instant noodles/sandwiches.

Featured above, chicken pie (top) and curry puff (bottom) from Caltax Mart.

The chicken pie was somewhat disappointing with the minced potato and chicken mix. Found it a tad too peppery.

Curry puff was the bomb! Not too flaky but generous amounts of potatoes and chicken gives OCK and Polar a run for their money. A closer competitor of Polar in fact. I want more!
