The best part about any Recreation Club is not the facilities but the food as well. Chinese Swimming Club's a regular hangout, partly due to the distance from home and also the relatively cheaper food as compared to the restaurants. Oh, yes..the dressing down part as well. *oops*
Soup of the day; Cream of Mushroom with bread and butter. A little on the creamy and milky side, but otherwise not too bad.
Kid's portion Spaghetti Bolognaise. Found this quite a large portion for a kid! Used to love the pasta so much I'd have it every other visit. A little on the bland side.
My Roast Beef on Multi-grain sandwich! Yummers. I've been eating this for months already. Toasted bread sandwiching slices of roast beef slathered with mustard and mayonnaise. Comes with a garden salad and fries.
A good alternative to Toast's Roast Beef Sandwich.
Like the crunchy bread and tasty beef with condiments. The salad's got the vinegar splattered on it, nice sour twang.
Sliced Fish Bee Hoon Soup. Fish slices are fresh but few.
Hor Fun with fish. Once again, quite bland.
Chinese Swimming Club does not rank tops in terms of food, but surely passable with selected dishes that are stellar! Service is...acceptable but definitely not quite the service place.
