Fancy Delight @ Tanjong Pagar
An ex-colleague dropped by and presented us with a box of fancy delights, those previously featured on channel U? Their major selling point, savoury egg tarts which I've tried almost immediately after the broadcast of that episode.
I tried the black pepper chicken egg tart and...I still think egg tarts should be left as desserts. It's a weird cross between a quiche and egg tart.
Settled for the apple egg tart this time. Tasted like an egg tart with apple slices. Does not wow unfortunately, I still prefer my flaky cantonese eggtarts anytime or the portugese ones.
