It has been a long while since I last visited First Thai, their rigid rules still stay through the years – no seating and waiting unless all is present and the last order stands at 915pm and get hurried to pay up at 10pm.
The last remaining customers.
Papaya Salad ($8)
This thai favourite is supposed to be refreshing and tangy but their was a tad raw and lacking in punch.
Pandan Chicken ($12, 4 pcs)
Fried Chicken with Lemon Sauce
Yet another ordinary fried chicken dish without any nostril numbing spices.
Tom Yum Seafood ($16, medium)
The straw that broke the camel’s back – yes it was spicy and fiery but just did not seem as memorable as it used to be.
Fresh Coconut Drink ($3)
Refreshing drink with sweet coconut flesh.
I wonder why I am going through the hassle and hurry of dining there when the quality of food has taken a sharp nosedive.

wow, each piece of pandan chicken cost $3! So expensive. A cheaper and better tasting on is a stone throw away at Ah Loy Thai (Shaw tower)
