The first flame grilled chicken place to open here
instead of Nando’s as most know it, we decided to pay it a visit. The
place is as packed as I can ever imagine without a queue system and
servers are hardly concerned. It is a casual eatery
– take your orders at the counter and wait to be served. Condiments are
entirely self service i.e. get them yourself from tables that do not
require them, instead of having them available at every table. Even
their freeflow drink option has been ceased, who
would know even if you went for seconds? And I digress.
Licensed to wait.
So very Nando's.
1/4 Chicken $9.90
1/2 Chicken $19.50
Fries, Garlic Roll
Green Bean and Sprout, Side Salad
Only chicken at a chicken place of course! The
portions were not huge, very manageable for females even for ½ portions.
Dry and spice rubbed, the meat was tough at parts and flavour was
thankfully revived with a dash of peri peri sauce
(all of fire and heat). The sides were hardly inspiring, I enjoyed my
garlic roll best though. Green Bean and Sprout was stir fried and
resembled a Chinese stir fry. Nando’s is better, The Rotisserie is tons
better. There, I already have ready replacement
options.

Totally agree Nando's is better.
