Sentosa Boardwalk has a couple of eateries and
possibly not the best location for a food and beverage outlet since the
main crowds come from the holiday makers heading to resorts world.
Nonetheless Queen’s joins The Wine Company on the
boardwalk. The outside al fresco dining area is actually breezier than
indoor which we happened to have a table.
A difference of two worlds –
the interior looks like a subpar haphazardly put “venetian palace” as
they desire; think artificial bronze statues,
peeling ceiling wall paper, oddly tapered carpet and mismatched
furniture.
Banana Bacon ($9.50)
Overly ripened bananas with bacon strips. It was all of mush and could hardly taste the bacon.
Mushroom soup ($8)
Terribly thin, mushroom bits were the only way of
determining what soup it is. If anything, the slice of garlic bread was
actually quite delish!
Service was bad, so was the food. We ended up with
just appetizers and scooted off for a heartier dinner elsewhere. Had it
not been for the gathering, I doubt I’d even step foot here!
