Manna Restaurant @ Telok Ayer

Manna Restaurant for korean one rainy day and it was packed as usual. I'm not sure if this had anything to do with their newly introduced loyalty card - the more you dine, the more stamps collected.

metal chopsticks

Signature metal cutlery for a hearty korean meal.

interior

Somehow even the furniture feels so korean.

banchan

Complimentary banchan of chive pancake, spicy tofu, kimchi, vermicilli coleslaw and beansprouts. Decent side dishes which filled us up considerably.

dumpling soup

Manduk Soup ($17)

Perfect for the rainy weather - this light tasting soup of tofu, leek and meat dumplings with a sliver of meat. Would have preferred if the dumpling skin did not disintegrate so easily and meat stuffing to be more marinated.

chicken

Chicken Hot Plate ($10)

Nothing to fault on this, was not sizzling hot but just decent.

tea

Comes with a jug of barley tea and watermelon slices for dessert.

watermelon

Cooling stuff!

Manna is decent, affordable lunch sets. Somehow I miss Hwang To Gol, especially.
