Swensens and secondary school go so hand in hand..like Breeks and Seoul Garden and Sakae sushi buffets. Most if not all the time, I head back just to reminisce the past...in a nostalgic way..though secretly I wished they did not change so much!
Fish and Chips
Breaded fish cutlets with tartare sauce and coleslaw..all the usual fish and chip works. Surprisingly, the dory fillet did not reek of its fishy origins like most overfried fish cutlets do.
Grilled Salmon
Evenly seared, the salmon was fresh and well cooked.
Lamb Chops
Decent food at Swensens though it has seemed to have lost its footing in positioning itself. I can possibly rattle off half a dozen similar concept dining places and Swensens probably will not come in tops. Well one thing's for sure, many years later I'll still remember Swensens for its Earthquake icecream creations.
