I visited Double Bay when they first opened for business year back. Until one day when I chanced upon their brunch menu and then dessert and there was the irresistible - Sticky Date Pudding! The way Christian Louboutins would charm the socks of me, Sticky Date anything has that same draw.
Onion Rings
Theirs are fried so crisp, eating onion rings become so addictive. With a batter so light, the only grouse was they should have left the oil to settle before serving.
Sticky date pudding! I have issues with pocky sticks stuck into the presentation of any dessert - works like an artificially red cherry, ruins. Anyhow, the pudding was light and soft but lacked the presence of dates. Not the greatest, neither the worstest.
Odd that this visit was purely for their non-signatures...perhaps next time!

When did you go? They are listed as closed in Hungry Go Where and their website is no longer active.
