Cupcakes are like sunflowers, they induce smiles no matter how sickeningly sweet the frosting is. A small gesture to perk me up at work and sure enough, it worked its magic on me.
The piped rose made it almost unbearable to eat.
The rose tinted cake ($2.20) made me extra wary, fearing the repeat of the purple velvet cake, like red velvet cake is chocolate cake but coloured otherwise.
Coarse butter cake with frosting too sweet...not the best cupcake but served its purpose of cheering me up.
