Sunset Grill and Pub @ Seletar Airbase

Nested near Seletar Air Base, locating Sunset Grill past sunset (for a first timer) is as good as finding a needle in a haystack. Road signs are least bit helpful but anyhow, we found our way there! The only eating place within 1 mile, so I guess Sunset Grill is great comfort for the pilots or the people working there. Walking out is unheard of.

The place hollers old school, another of those places that has this rustic "away from SG" feel and once again, I felt I was dining in someone's backyard with the lights strung across. Plastic table cloths drap the tables and menus are dog earred.

Their famous spicy buffalo wings whose level of spice ranges from 1-30. The challenge is ongoing, attempt level 30 and polish them off, you get your name inked on the wall! I only attempted levels 2 and 3, bearable for a spicyfood addict! The sour-hot spice concentrates on the skin rather than the meat, the chicken meat's normal.

Hamburg Steak that was disappointing. It's just a minced beef patty with impossible to chew bone bits in the patty. The side blanched vegetables were good though, I found the baked potato more palattable.

The pal's Pork Chops were juicy and tender, one of the better pork chops tasted!

For all the remoteness of this place and the quality of food, I'm not quite for a second helping anytime soon.
