Botak Jones' has always been associated with Aston's largely for value western meals at hawker centres and the portions aren't stinged upon..half a meal satiates me quite abit.
Cajun Chicken Burger ($6.50)
A juicy chicken breast on an open faced burger, smothered with mozzarella cheese and comes accompanied by cajun sauce, a pathetic leaf of lettuce and tomato slice. There are 2 sides too; curry fries and coleslaw.
The breast came as promised "boneless and skinless", heavily peppered with cajun sauce and spices. Well marinated I'd say...and the mozzarella cheese! I adore food with mozzarella cheese rather than cheddar or worst still, ordinary cheese. It ups the mess factor a few notches but the enjoyment gets upped exponentially as well. The same logic as Carl's Junior, somehow. Coleslaw was too creamy, fries were just alright. Thick cut fries and paprika..sounds good by itself.
Pity I didn't have time for their desserts, cheesecakes and apple pie.
They've pretty much made themselves ubiquitous, nearly in every nook and cranny of the island. Not the best of the pack but...good enough.
