Manzhu 2 @ Chinese Swimming Club

Back at Chinese Swimming Club for a random dinner! Major pleased to find they've revamped the menu quite abit. Variety's always good.

Broccoli with 3 types of mushrooms ($4.40)

Straight off the vegetarian menu. Quite a portion of broccolis, cooked to the right crunch. I like my veggies crunchy. The sauce isn't gooey nor too salty. Nice!

Achar, Pompadum and rice

This is served with the curry chicken. The pompadum was somewhat soggy from the temperature of the steaming rice. Achar's always an appetite teaser.

Curry Chicken ($6.30)

Thick gravy with tender chicken pieces, delightful..it'll be better if it were spicier.

Chicken Nuggets and potato pim poms ($3.80)

Kid's menu always offers food in smaller portions but that gives you room to try others! Chicken nuggets that's homemade with minced chicken, pretty good in fact. Nary the plastic-ky taste of the fastfood joints. The potato pim poms are just fried mashed potato balls.

Grilled chicken burger ($4.80)

The chicken patty's ground chicken with veggies inside as well. Light, tasty and not laden with MSG. I love how the buns are toasted!

Waffle and ice-cream with mango puree ($4)

And to end it off on a sweet note, waffles! Fluffy, crispy waffles with ice-cream, nice balance of warm and cold...it's a yummer.

One of the best meals I had at CSC...I hope the standard stays that way! Till the next time~
