The visit to Jalapeno at Singapore Flyer was a first! It falls under the same umbrella of restaurants as Spageddies promising " American , Mexican, Italian and fabulously eclectic Latino-influenced dishes with kaleidoscopic views of the bay".
The first birthday celebration of the year! After the embarrassing incident, the flyer has since closed down temporarily and the place is quite a ghost town with few diners, save for a wedding reception a couple of doors away.

The exterior...

Menu...that has a lil of a mexican influence..probably in the font and colours used.

Interior..spy that mexican hat? Colours used throughout...it's rather spacious for a restaurant, designed for the kids in mind..

The table setting..

Spaghetti Bacon & Mushroom, $13.50
I took a mouthful, the gravy's somewhat too watery, not quite the cream pasta I love.

Vegetarian Baked Rice, $16.50
Sauteed broccoli, zucchini, mushroom, carrot with sauce served with rice boiled with cheese
It looks clumpy and tastes just like rice with cream soup. Not a fan of this.

Jalapeno's Burger, $11.50
Grilled burger with shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, pickles, jalapeno topped with crispy bacon and smothered with melted american cheese
My order! Phew. At least it looks decent with a mighty burger and smatter of thin french fries next to it.

Upclose of the burger, stacked quite high with all the ingredients. The beef patty's got this taste that I can't quite describe, probably the beefy taste? Well not quite "smothered" in cheese but rather melted..it's delicious but really nothing to scream about.
Service is...just alright. Water is charged at 50 cents a drink.
With food being slightly below average save for my burger..some of the company had issues with their baked rice..I wouldn't really want to head back for anything.
