A new glasshouse kind of sprouted up at the side of Raffles City..at first I thought it's a temporary art display...and then I realise it's actually a bar! On further discovery, it's actually a dining place.
The pals chose this for our annual Christmas gathering...most if not all had the same dish..scroll down to discover what!

Laminated menus...of cobbled floors...it's described as an "Australian dining & bar"..I gingerly flipped over to the mains selection..and their specialty is fish and chips..in different types of fish. Few non-fish options are available..with pies and pasta as alternatives.

The seemingly al fresco interior...

Table setting...

My Australian Barramundi in coriander batter, $19.90..described as "Giant Perch" with "soft, white, less fatty, less flaky". The fish is firm and chewy, batter was lacking in flavour..was expecting something like a Vadai. The accompanying sauces were very appetizing! Vinegar, Mayo and Ketchup. Thick cut potato chips...makes this meal very British...and the salad..with loadsa vinegar!

D's Beer Battered Seabass with Chips. The fish is softer and mushier here.
4 types of batter available; beer, coriander, sunder and breaded!
It's another Fish&Co-Fisherman's Wharf-Manhatten Fish Market concept...they focus on fish&chips (obviously!), slightly disappointed with the taste..for that price, I can get better. Not much of a unique selling point, I have to add.
Service is decent, what surprised me was the servers remembering your exact order and not having to ask "So who's having the...?" Every fish on the menu has a description of the flesh..not that it really matters.
It's worth that one try.
